When I grew up in the 90s where Autism and Aspergers was hardly recognize. Well, at least where I live. I was in and out of the Children's Hospital and Counselors of every sort for me to try to verbally communicate during my Elementary years. It wasn't so bad, cause I was only called names and didn't seem to bother me.

When I hit Middle School, it was on a whole other level. I could communicate with everyone, but poorly. My sentences were not structured, sounded different and there would be frequent stutters/stammers as well as long pauses in between words. The people I use to hang out with and would call/consider friends with, all left me by the 6th grade because it was uncool of them to even look my with if it was not to hurt me. The rumors started first and was constantly spread to who ever was new to the school so that I could not even talk to them. No matter where I went, I was always laughed at and pushed, punched, and slammed against the lockers. This made me revert back to not willing to talk at all, in which was horrible because I couldn't say anything. It was horrible because then I couldn't report what was happening to me, and when I did talk or when someone would ask question about who I was. I would lie. I hated, hated being myself so I would lie to people to make some image of another person than myself.

It was only until my 7th grade health class that we were on the topic of suicide. I pulled my teacher aside after class and told her there wasn't a day that went by that I thought of killing myself. Cause even when I came to the house I lived in, my brother, sister, and father would not make my days any easier. I felt so trapped. My 7th grade health teacher had told my mother about what I said to her. After that, she took this matter to the school. I was surprised that they were willing to help me. They put me into different classes away from my attackers.  It was the same subject class, but it was like I could breathe again.

By the time I reached high school, the physical abuse stopped but not the verbal abuse. The verbal abuse from the ones that have spread rumors, called me horrible names, and made sure that there older friends knew of what they would say to me and make me feel alone.

My story isn't as horrible as others, for also in high school, I became friends with other outcasts because they accepted me. I wanted to share my story for not only the Autistic/Aspergers, but for everyone. it does get better.

The school and police didn't do nothing about it. Once I got into the 5th grade I was at a different school. It wasn't so bad. I actually had friends. Middle school came around and it wasn't bad either until the 8th grade. People started bullying me over something said that was totally wrong. People sent me texts telling me to kill myself, I shouldn't be alive, and all kinds of stuff. Luckily I had friends who stuck by my side. Now I'm not bullied anymore. I have wonderful friends, a loving boyfriend, and an amazing life. Still to this day, I see people getting bullied everyday. My friend was getting bullied at school and on facebook. She tried to commit suicide but luckily it did not go through. School's don't do anything about this!!! It makes me mad!!!! Bullying is a big issue and it needs to be stopped.

I used to be bullied in middle school and even at a school where bullying shouldnt happen. The school doesnt try hard! Students and parents need to be involved in this. Bullying is a problem. The movie depicted bullying perfectly. It can be much worse at times. I was bullied because of my weight and how i looked. Now i get therapy and have learned that looks matter last, because when they fade, all that is left is your personality.

My son was beaten by a bully group whos parents were the "VIP" adult bully group !  the witnesses wll state there was and is a "code of silence" that these kids were not to be handled , as a result and as all parent letters reflect they hurt anyone they wanted to , while the Principal and after care enrichment program turned a blind eye . due to this the bullying continued . The principal had a prior we found out , the same group had attacked a severly autistic child about 8 mos prior to my sons attacks which led to an LAUSD settlement .  I was told there was nothing i could do ! after my son was attacked again twice 2 days in a row by the same bully group . my father called the school and demanded a rule book something we had never been given . we had followed all the rules . 5 peaceful years , until we asked for help !!  we finally called the school police who felt it warrented there attention . after they left i was given 2 letters from the princpal  one that stated  the last 2 incidents of bullying never happend  that no witnesses could be found !! yet all testified as to the envents !! i was there ! the yard super was there ! we had written the testimony down and given to all releivent parties because the principal had changed the witnesses testimony  in her report .  the second letter  was a ban for me and retrsictions for my son !! she sated 8 lies in her letter . the letter was a collection concocted by the after care director and the principal and the paretns of the bullies . we were now being bullied . everyone who saw the letter said "they are going after you and are afraid of a law suit " we went up the LAUSD ladder . we were laughted at  they stated 'you hve no support " as many were terrified to do anything . we kept going up beleiving we would get the help we needed , the principal was now banning my son from all the 'rights of passage events'  as this was the last 6 weeks of school .  we once again saw another LAUSD high up official  he pushed a box of kleenex tissues towards my son and said "were are ya going next " he refused to help . and confimed that my on was banned from events . 24 hours after this visit the principal  made a false children and family service report . she put the 8 false reason to ban and then added  'mother called the school police " on a child "  this was in the confidential reports , after we were further traumatized from this event 9it was the most terrifying event ) the social worker afater throughtly investigating my family and the principal she came to the quick conclusin  that it was clolsed and unfounded and put in her rationelle that it was "retaliation" from the principal . The head leagal council then release all confidential documents into my posession for the sole purpose of esposing this principals actions . my son was considered the "statge master"   5 years of exellent service in the threatre , he did not talk until he was 6 theatre was part of his therapy and became his life and driving force with tons of emailes from the enrichment profgram  stating "he should be directed towards boroadway ! and all awards for outstanding achivement in drama . i thought of leaving the school but my son was determined to graduate there as Leanordo Dicaprio had greaduated there !  and we thought we get the help we sought . instead they tried to take his last song and give it to the bullies !! our friend Actor jeff goldblum even helped him how to choose which part ! before they had offere him any part he wanted . after they began sending letters home threatening to replace him !  never in 5 years ! at the cullmination  they decided to honor the  theatre dept which was never done , they spotlighted all of the bullies , named 22 kids even kids that came in within the last 2 mos ...they left one out ...my son . everyone was shocked and did not understand . im no stage parent.  now we had a meeting and gain were told are parent letter describing  PTSD ,Concusion all of the damage it has done to so many . In my 7th grade year, I had an experience of being a bully victim.

There were these two kids in my gym class, and they would pick

on me quite frequently, and I felt as if there was no way to stop it.

But as the year went by, I started to notice I was being bullied less

and less, and that was because I would have gone up and told an adult,

stood up for myslef, or just simply ignored those bullies' comments and

other things they could do to make me mad. Then eventually they thought

I was just another person and then they just moved on with their lives.

That's my bully story!
